The beaches of Bénodet

How do I get to Bénodet from camping Le Helles?
Camping Le Helles is located 10 minutes from Bénodet, at the crossroads of several beaches in the commune of Combrit. Bénodet can be reached on foot after a leisurely 30-minute walk of 2.5 km, including the Odet ferry crossing. The same journey by bike is extremely pleasant and takes just 15 minutes. In both cases, of course, you need to know the crossing times. By car, allow around 10 minutes and 4.5 km via the picturesque Cornouaille Bridge. Kermor Beach
This long strip of fine sand, ideally facing south-west, stretches far from Sainte-Marine and Combrit. You can enjoy this superb beach on foot from Le Helles campsite. Swimming is supervised on Kermor beach.
Bénodet beach
It’s almost a mythical beach, lined with superb buildings and sewn-in shops. There’s always something to eat and stroll around town between two swimming or sunbathing sessions. Bénodet’s supervised beach is particularly lively. There’s a Mickey Mouse club for kids, for example, and a host of events take place throughout the summer. Bathing is also very pleasant.
Plage du Trez
Still located in Bénodet, but a little further back, the Trez beach offers supervised swimming in a very pleasant setting.
Letty beach
A little further on, we come across the Letty beach, which has the particularity of bordering shallow waters. This beach is very popular with locals, and very pleasant for families. Swimming is not supervised.
Kerler beach
On the other side of Bénodet from Sainte-Marine is the very long Kerler beach. It’s a wild beach, set in a natural environment that’s no less wild. Parking is available nearby, but the beach is lined with popular hiking trails. Swimming is not supervised.
